Friends of Reed School

Friends of Reed School (FoRS) is the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) for Reed First School, and functions as a registered charity. FoRS has been established for over 15 years and has done much via fundraising to support the children who attend Reed First School and enhance their learning experience. We've hosted: Environmental Days (helping to refresh and refurbish our school). Bake-offs. Tuck Shops and much more. We've also been privileged to use some of the funds raised to help the school and treat the children. We have funded or partially funded days out and treats at school, often deferring the cost of school coaches. Recent purchases include: Pantomimes held in the school hall (and in 2021, online). Science and Technology equipment. Leavers’ hoodies and gifts. While recent times have challenged our ability to support the school, we are happy to have much support from the school community and of course from the wider village community. We always need help, please get in contact if you would like more information.
